Office Professionals of Arkansas (OPA)

OPA Follies will present a version of Saturday Night Live, hoping to bring back some of the skits and rock the house with all the talent. Please attend the Follies during the Annual APHA Conference in Hot Springs this May!

Health Administration Section (HAS)

Our dues will remain $10 payable in January. These dues will keep you in good standing with HAS January 1-December 31, 2012. You may send your $10 registration to Waunema Hodges, Courier #90-R, or 27 W. Township, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Or you may include your dues on the registration form sent out by Lynn Humphries. Invite all your co-workers to join!

Our section will again meet at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday (May 10) for a continental breakfast, brief meeting and election of new officers. If you would like to be on the ballet for vice-chair, secretary, treasurer or parliamentarian, please let one of the current officers know. We want all members to participate on this committee. It's a lot of fun.

HAS will again offer a breakout session. Our speaker will be Ann Purvis, Deputy Director for Administration for ADH. Please come hear what she has to say about her 20 years in state government, her role as Deputy Director of Administration, our strategic plan, her goals and the challenges that we will be facing. You will not be disappointed!

HAS will have a raffle for a "precious gem" necklace. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and will be sold at the HAS/OPA table near the registration table at the convention center, at the annual breakfast meeting or from any member of the committee. The more chances you purchase, the better your chances of winning!
